I was actually out on a call in Bernardsville the other day and was shocked when I turned on my laptop to use my aircard, that both Comcast and Optimum wifi connections were available. Since I'm a CV customer, I could only use that network. I can tell you with about 75% signal strength, it was marginally faster than dialup. If i'm around there again, I'll run some speedtest and post to OOL forums.
Now only if they could get around to my area. -- "Good thing the whole innerweb isn't run with those 3.5 hour reboot time taking computers....I imagine hes running Windows Server 2003 with active directory as a domain controller on a Cascio watch." Barky |

Karl 's usually Johnny on the spot with his pieces, nevertheless, I've been waiting for this for awhile, I live and work near Newark's Penn Station, ideally this the railroad hub of New Jersey would have the service by now, but ideally and logically don't come into the picture in NJ, ever. -- BEWARE: "We can't expect the American people to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism." - Nikita Khrushchev - |
