We need to burry these lines, then there wont be issues with wind storms or ice storms, ect taking out these lines. Its alot easyer to fix when they are dug up, as generaly it happens between spring-fall. not winter when most excivating will stop if the ground is frozen, thus no ice storms to take out the lines. |

1 edit | I agree, though additional work doesn't need to be done in my neighborhood, I'm less than a mile away from the local power station so all my lines are underground already. The next street over has their lines above ground though. |

Power is not as practical to bury as phone/cable. For higher voltage distribution and especially transmission it gets prohibitvely expensive quickly.
