Forget email - no one on our road can even connect to the internet! Tech support sent a repairman, but he didn't even have any phone numbers to call. Tech support doesn't have any answers. We're into five days with no connectivity and there's no word from Fairpoint. Try calling tech support now and all you get is "Due to heavy call volume we're unable to take your call now." The transition was a total botch.
This has been a MESS!!!! I have a business and none of my email was delivered or forwarded for a week. At this point it looks as if a weeks worth of emails has just disappeared into the ethernet. I think there should be a major class action suit brought against Fair Point.
