| HAH HAAAH! The only way to stop the caps and throttling of these looser ISP corporations is to send your money elsewhere if you can. If you don't they win muuhahahahahahaaa!
The internet will be controlled and conquered by the elitists if we don't stop them! Hit them where it hurts, their Swiss bank accounts. -- Humans are corrupt and greedy by nature, honesty is completely artificial ~Endgame

They just want intenet access to be a 100% money making machine just like with TV now so the unlimited free ride is over. -- Humans are corrupt and greedy by nature, honesty is completely artificial ~Endgame

Do you think they will sit idly and not do something? These are hardly the companies to fuck around with.

Microsuck has and continues to be in bed with both the MAFIAA (DRM) and the federal government (back door OS). They don't mind the caps because they're getting their agreed upon kickbacks from both. As to the others, it remains to be seen that any action taken will be beneficial to anyone else but themselves. Don't count on giant mega-corps to safeguard consumer best interest. -- The Toll

They're moving Office to large parts of it being downloadable and operating online instead of residing on your PC as a monthly subscription plan.
Microsoft Live is based on downloadable content.
MSN is driven by advertising dollars based on page views.
X-Box peer gaming is Microsoft as well.
Seems like M$ can lose quite a bit of that money with caps being put in place and reducing the bandwidth available.
A few million in kickbacks is NOTHING compared to the billions to be had from online sales, subscriptions and advertising revenues.
