Oh give me a break...anyone would have done the same thing. Clearly this is nothing more the Comcast marketing groveling for any positive press that they can get!

You don't think the local press that showed up there to cover the story just might have something to do with it, don't you?

.. of course not. What next? .. you going to say that Comcast started the fire at the scheduled job and told the tech to run into the burning building?

Its easy to say things like "clearly this is nothing more than Comcast marketing.." (snip) so if it's so clear, please point to the overwhelming evidence that makes it so.
