Broadband subscribers in Japan also consume less than 26GB/mo on average. This is the largest contributing factor to the ~$50USD /mo pricing.

on 1.5mb dsl you can average 200gb a month so i find that someone with higher speed 10mbit,25mbit,50mbit,100mbit unable to use anymore then us consumer make no sense... They may as well all be using dsl and cable if the average japanese consumer is only 26gb???
