10 mbit service could download 200 gigs in 44 hours. 100 mbit service in 4.4 hours. You could blow your entire month in a hurry...but what's the point?
Some of us still have that obese mentality. 'All you can eat' then I'll eat everything until I burst. If I had 100/5 why and what should I be downloading 365/24/7?

I just saw my monthly transfer stats and it didn't reach 2~4GB! I work from home and use my internet connection constantly from browsing, streaming music to uploading databases and cgi scripts. Sometimes I use Vuze for legacy stuff (Amiga, C64, CoCo, ROMs etc) and seed the downloads for days at a time.

I'd gladly pay $250 C for 100/5.

That's a poor analogy. A better one would be leasing a Ferrari for $249.95/month with the 20 mile/month mileage limit. Sure you can go those 20 miles very fast but if you only needed to travel 20 miles in an entire month, wouldn't you be better off just getting a bicycle?

And why in the world would you pay $250 C if you only download 2-4 Gb per month? P.T. Barnum sure knew what he was talking about.
