I knew differently. They just want to bind me to a new contract (more money for them of course). I decided to purchase a brand new model of Netopia (the 3347-02-1006L) as a backup device in case I needed to test the line from my end or failure of the older Netopia (4541-300). I'm currently having line issues (losing sync). AT&T states that it's my equipment. This model does diagnostics on the box, line, and troubleshoots other problems. I just want to tell AT&T the symptoms of the problem. I will check the VPI/VCI and set it up manually on the model (3347-02-1006L). Thankfully does support newer ADSL2/ADSL2+ specs. Do you have this device or are you just the area expert?
