 | Caps Whats the point in even subscribing to faster access if you have to worry about Caps? It defeats the purpose of having higher speeds to begin with. |

| I have went from 3,4,6,8, and 16 download speeds over the last 4 years. I used 28 gigs of downlod last month (which is average for me). I like the faster speeds because browsing and downloads are much quicker to load. It is a much better service for me. I am on and off much quicker with the faster speeds. If I were downloading 24/7 the caps would be an issue but thats not me. -- I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I am not sure you realize what you heard is not what I meant. Some of us actually use the internet for other things. Personally, I can't wait for the new speeds to hit. -- "Science flies you to the moon. Religion flies you into buildings." |

I don't think it does as a rule. Realistically even at slower speeds I don't think many people are maxing our their connections 24x7 desperately trying to squeeze out every bit of data they can get. For most users it's a demand issue, not a supply issue. The total amount of bandwidth is about the same -- they just want that data to finish faster.
I would say the people who are desperate for every bit are going to need to start considering data center co-location. The days of all-you-can-eat consumer Internet are over. |

Caps have always been around... they've just been defined. |

It defeats the purpose of having higher speeds to begin with. Even back when I had 3mbps - I tipped the usage scales at 30-35GB per month. Today with 16mbps, I still stay within the 35GB per month threshold. I just get my items faster.
