While there is no noticeable difference IMO between Component, S-Video, and Composite under Standard Def, there is absolutely a worse picture with RF.
Yes component is way better

as it will offer

I can't stand dot crawl even with a comb filter so I need S-Video. I can't tell between composite&RF.

24, 30 is SDTV
