And your not a, "heavy user." That is 2 and a half Terabytes a month! That also means you run your connection none stop. Huh? So what is a "heavy user" to you? Mathematically there cannot be a heaver user than you. Unless of course they had a higher package.
I would go for 50mb package if it were cheaper
Maybe sometime in the near future if it does get cheaper or I somehow won a lottery
If you do down and up its 5 tb not 2.5tb lol
full duplex symmetrical not asymmetrical or half duplex
10/10 vs comcast 8/2
the only saving grace is the symmetrical speed
if it was 10/2 or 10/1 i would not bother.
i dont alway download 86gb a day but i was just making a point. this all depend on what type of stuff i like and how huge... so it could be far less then you thought.
why download stuff just to keep my connection maxed out?
it would be pointless... it must be something i like.

me a heavy user? lol. far from it. far from it.
i often do not like to download much but just having the option allow me to breathe much easier without having to worry that my connection are shut off cause the isp find me not very profitable for their business practice
i would download nonstop for 3 days then for another week do obsolutely nothing but read email and surf the web, that require little bandwidth.
i find power boost a type of steroid for cable company next to useless... its cable on drugs.
the saving grace for att dsl is no cap as of now so as soon as the cap are enforced we are in big trouble
20gb,40gb,60gb,80gb,and150gb for uverse.
It is impossible to be a heavy user on 10mb or slower tier
but it is possible with 50mb or higher...
even 20mbit imho are for casual user who are pleased that its already faster then most
If you compared 10mbit vs 100mbit... no matter how much 10mbit uses you would only be using 1/10 of a 100mbit connection at best.
so tell me what do you know how about heavy usage

@comcast.net

You certainly can spew a load of words without providing useful content. Point is (as you know since you claim to have an intimate understanding of bandwidth) while you're maxing out your bandwidth downloading goodness knows what at 80G a day, your neighbors can get nothing accomplished because you've managed to tie up all of the unlimited bandwidth they've also paid for and are therefor entitled to according to your perspective. You *do* understand that the bandwidth on a given node is shared, right?

That's why it sucks... I know that one of these day either they drop me or i drop them but it never came to this point since I'm no heavy user. I will use more with faster connection and use less with slower connection. Its an automatic thing. Why I have to use less bandwidth the faster our connection are say 100mbit if it existed? How about why drive like a snail if you have a fast car?

I am casual user. Who will sometime use a lot and sometime use none. I like to use it as much as I like
Saying that I slow you down because I am maxing out my connection only further prove my point how much cable comcast sucked big time.

Enjoy your slow shared connection I see you like to complain about user instead of bandwidth limitation... Don't blame the user for it blame the cable company for not investing in a bigger pipeline or faster backbone with 1gpbs instead of multiple T1,T3 that are inferior and expensive to maintain.
