Go to Walmart and you can see a different level of service. They barely speak English. They will check your items at the pace they see fit. Most of the time its slow as molasses. They don't care if the line is 10 people deep. They are paid near minimum wage and all look as if they just got kicked off welfare.
But the good news for these Walmart employees is they still get to milk Uncle Sam via medicare.
All of these anti union rants amuse me because it was the threat of collective bargaining that gave employers the incentive to pay decent wages and to give benefits. Along comes Walmart and the "competitive" argument ensues into other sectors such as telecoms. This is great....the competitive argument now means that we're all in competition for immigrant wages!
