So I just got home and my wife refuses to uninstall Total Defender. I showed her the links and she still says they are wrong and wants to keep it. Those of you who are married know that it is (almost) always in the husband's best interest to keep his wife happy and I feel that if I pursue the matter further she will get even more upset and then start sulking and then nobody is happy. She is not a technical person but she does have a temper.

Currently I am trying to cancel the credit card but it is in her name (we have only been married a few months so it is an account she had when she was single) so I am not making much headway. I am sensing a lot of jealousy and sexual frustration here. If my wife wants to keep rogue anti spyware on her computer and it makes her happy, I am fine with it. It is not worth it. My Mac is safe even if her Windows computer is infected and I don't use her computer at al.

If her CCN does get used for fraud, we are only liable for $50. Small price to pay to not have to deal with frustrations like you guys do.
