And the shareholders don't deserve any of that?
Not to say the employees are not important, but the shareholders are important as well. A public company can't exist without either.
FYI, there are 5.89 billion shareholders.
.41 cent dividend a qtr. Shareholders have taken a 20.00 loss already in the past 52 weeks.
Another ironic twist is that while the media portrays the shareholders as rich elite people, a good potion of the shareholders are regular working people who have AT&T stock wrapped up in retirement accounts, 401K accounts and mutual funds etc....
I would be willing to bet a good number of the autoworkers too are AT&T shareholders.
