Qwest has been paying for some very expensive direct mail print ads around here, promoting how clear and reliable landlines are.
While the points they are making are valid, I'm not sure how effective they will be. |

| Given the state of the econonmy - Qwest would have been better off pushing a VoIP (cheap) solution with their high speed DSL. It worked for Cable... there's no reason it couldn't work for Telco (except for the fast that they wouldn't do it, and they don't have TV) -- Canada = Hollywood North |

They send us ads here too, weekly, saying switch to 7 Mbps or 20 Mbps DSL. Maybe they should know they don't really offer those speeds anywhere near us.
We lose the landline for about 1 week a year, same for DSL. |
