they are building brand loyalty. i think getting screwed over by low caps and poor customer service for years will make people jump ship immediately when they eventually get fios.
those i know that have it swear by it. whenever i get it i will remember the times with cable when they screwed with bit torrent* and, let the cable installer sleep on my couch. I will celebrate!!!!
*i dont use bit torrent but i will never forget!!!
