MPLS via DSL?

JoelC707 : Sorry if this has been asked before but when I search for "MPLS DSL" it drops "DSL" because it's too common leaving me with only the MPLS results.

I've been interested in MPLS for some time now but it has always been too expensive and not exactly what I need. The biggest problem is it has required a T1 at each location and while that would be nice it is certainly not needed. Everyone I've talked to has told me it can't be done via DSL but why not? Right now I have a T1 at the main office and DSL at the home offices (yes they are residences) and run a VPN tunnel between them. This works but I like the redundancy behind MPLS. I could probably achieve the same with enough inter connected tunnels but that would become a PITA.
