Verizon did not purchase all of Alltel everywhere. Here in Southern Illinois we are unsure of who will purchase them. There are talks of T Mobile bidding on it. I am glad, me no likey Verizons caps on EVDO
Only if you're GSM. Otherwise you're stuck with Verizon, Sprint, or a 3rd party carrier.
