Re: Cricket Broadband Wireless email support The port 25 was blocked by cricket - end of story. I ran the tests in DOS as suggested here and it was blocked.
I changed to an ALTERNATIVE SMTP and a different port as found on a search at my domain hosting company where I get my email.
It was working fine on port 25 with the regular smtp settings for 2 months, then cricket must have closed the hole.
I changed it to an alternative SMTP and port address from my hosting [email] website, that was on a page that stated "use this if your ISP blocks port 25."
Now we'll see when they block that next. |
