Computer Hardware Help → Sony Vaio PCG-971L DRIVERS

I have Sony PCG-971L notebook and has windows xp home edition on it.
My notebook is down and it has ba sectors also. I want to format the c: drive. I have lost all the CDs got with it. I looked on the sony site, but they don't have that model listed. Where I can get the DRIVERS?

Does anyone have this laptop and have a recovery disk with the drivers on it? Or could anyone point me to where they know of drivers for this.

call sony, they are the only place to get the cd's you need.

Are you sure you have the correct model number? When I searched for "Sony *971L" in Google it brings up PCG-FXA36.

some vaio's have 2 numbers. one on the corner of the LCD and another on the bottom of the unit. check both, one or the other will probably pull up the drivers.
