Re: trying to install MRTG on a SBC 5100b all I'm after is the ability to set the community name in the 5100b so that I can hook MRTG to it to catch snmp data - if there is a different way to achieve this then I'm all ears

in the »SBC DSL FAQ »How can I access the Speedsteam modem's CLI? posting it states:

not sure where the hard reset button is, don't see one on the modem. assume that the GUI reset is the Advanced/Reset Modem option
Any reason to fear that the modem will be left inop after doing a GUI reset? All I should need is a printout of the Technican Readout and know my username and password, correct? Don't know what I don't know... |
