Re: [Speed] Chicago... Issues

I had my tier 2 tech visit this morning at 9:30.

Last night, my internet speed shot up to 10-11 Mbps. When the tech came this morning, I was still getting the same speed. Naturally, since there was nothing wrong, the tech said everything must be fixed and left.

Jump to 4:30pm and the internet speed is back down to 3 Mbps. I called tech support and a supervisor called the tech who came in this morning. He's supposed to come back here today.

Now, 8:00pm, after I called to complain again, the speed is back up to around 8 Mbps. Normal during what I think might be considered peak time.

I don't even know if this is possible, but every time I've had a tech come out, the speed issue seems to fix itself the day before the scheduled visit. Then it's right back to RCN's version of "normal" later on that day. Could there be something to this or just me being paranoid?
