Thank you boys! It is not my fault I asked my question here as far as this forum is linked with the tomato firmware site »www.polarcloud.com/tomatofaq as first place to ask with the words "See the README included with the firmware for additional information. For other questions/problems, try the following: Wikibook (en) Wikibook (de) Broadband/DSL Reports Forums". Linksysinfo.org forum comes only at second place after that. Now I see here are mainly the hardware problems. I have not hardware problems with my whr-hp-g54 so I switch to linksysinfo.org forum. Anyway before switching I would like to answer LLigetfa: I assigned static IPs OUTSIDE the same scope as DHCP following to the recommendation of the author of the firmware "Tomato" in the FAQ placed at his downloading site »www.polarcloud.com/tomatofaq#sho···dhcp_ip_, though this recommendation sounds some strange for me: "Inside or outside of the DHCP range will work, but it's probably better to use an address outside of the range so it doesn't get in the way". |
