FTTH required a fiber cross box somewhere in the neighborhood and alot of digging up of every yard in said neighborhood. Most places put all of the utilities in a 10 foot easement and expect them to last forever. That it rarely the case. Repairs happen all the time. The average person is probably pretty happy with a slower, and cheaper, connection. Or perhaps they have a gut feeling that broadband can be delivered without VRADS on every block by using more elegant technology like FTTH. <br><br>Either way, I think AT&T could solve this problem by simply offering the home owners who get VRADS free service and/or compensation. They pay for space on poles, why shouldn't they pay for space on lawns? ]]></description>

Do the customers that have no other choice have to like the way it's implemented? absolutely not.]]></description>
