i aready than the rebooting my system and its still the same the modem cannot be detected. is there another way?

try and power cycle it. Unplug power from moden fer ten twenty sec. re boot too after and see

yes there is a lights on the modem. the ethernet light is on. the ethernet cable is new. i cannot pullup the GUI, I optimize the browser. still the same i cannot pullup the GUI of the modem.

Make Sure you have automatically detect settings checked in Internet options.

The 3347 routers I use are from Bellsouth, and the wireless is disabled until you do some setup. (It is hard to tell if you are trying wired or wireless)

If wired, do lights light on the modem and your PC when you plug in the cable?

  hi guys can you help me on this one. i do have a window vista operating system and i ready recieve a two modem from qwest which Motorola 3347. everytime i run the quick connect cd there is message that says cannot detect the modem i already check the connection of the modem, im sure i properly connected the modem. i ve a compaq laptop. and also i cannot pullup the gui of the modem. i can ping the modem. do have a problem on my lan card?
