It's about time

This is something the cell phone companies should of done a long time ago. I have a similar service with MetroPCS. I have unlimited calling, texting, and web access for $50 a month. It's great that I can make calls all day long without worrying about using my minutes or waiting till 9pm. The only drawback is I have to pay for my own phone which is no big deal.

AT&T and Verizon won't do it because cellphones are a cash cow for them. Providing unlimited service for that low of a price won't be in there best interests.

T-Mobile has long offered "regional unlimited" plans for $50/mo - which is effectively what Boost and MetroPCS offer (since they don't have nationwide coverage).

Metro and Revol DO offer nationwide coverage. They roam on each others and now with Revol wireless. you just PAY EXTRA for it.

$5 is not worth it.

Nationwide coverage? Cricket+MetroPCS+Revol combined is worse than Nextel, Sprint, or TM.

The business model is for Cricket, MetroPCS, Revol is landline replacement in urban areas, nothing more,

Boost has always been on Nextel's network except for when the hybrid phones were an option.

and yet Nextel's network, which used to charge a premium pre-sprint, now is the budget network. Wonder how that works...

actually its only Nextel in the US. They're in other countries under the same name but different providers own them. Or at least was at one time.

And there is no reason to call it Ghetto Phone just because its no contract.

Do you REALLY need to know how that works?

There are so many things wrong with your post, it's not even funny.

I'd attempt to explain to you, but I can see in your sarcasm you don't care anyway. Fanboy conversations get you no where so there is no need to try.
