Regional or National? Some "competitive edge?"

Regional or National?

Well...any somewhat major company sells national plans, even large regional companies like US Cellular or Alltel.

But, you have to live in an area where they provide native service. It's why I can never sign up for an Alltel plan.

I wonder about this since if it's national that means there are more potential users.

"Competitive Edge?"

To be serious they'd have to offer some sort of "competitive edge," to get people to sign up. For example:

US Cellular - Free Incoming Calls

AT&T - Only 3G HSDPA carrier, and has "Unity" plans (very cool if you can get one)

Alltel - MyCircle (I think you can still buy them)

T-Mobile - MyFaves

Sprint - Their all inclusive plan is $100. Some folks have cheap SERO plans, but you have to be one of the cool kids.

VZW - Nothing at all. How did they get so big?

·WOW Internet and..

Alltel is NOT fully VZW. You can still signup at Alltel stores and on theire website. they have not merged anything yet except put Alltel customers in the VZW mobile to mobile system. They're just now starting to port people over to the billing system but will NOT be billed by VZW for months to come.
