if the equipment supports ADSL2+, then I'm fairly sure that it could support FastPath.

Could you order 10 meg, if you wanted to? If you can, then chances are the equipment can, in fact, support fastpath, as 10 meg requires fastpath.

in any event, if you had fastpath, that first-hop latency would definitely drop.

2 edits		 nah, 10 meg isn't available. Someone from the Embarq forum (not joey) managed to lower my first hop latency to 16. Fastpath or not, it's good enough for me.
