| This year's best purchases so far:
1. Shure SCL4s (on clearance). Really fantastic earphones. I love listening to them.
2. Cowon S9. Been waiting for months in hopes that a 32GB version would be released, but they keep putting it off. I finally caved and bought it in 16GB since I have a bunch of airplane time coming up and thought it would be fun to have a new toy to keep me occupied. The AMOLED screen has to be seen to be believed (online pics do it NO justice) and there are some really gorgeous UIs that you can install. They made it really easy for people to code their own interfaces and customize everything. It's great to see a manufacturer actually embracing that kind of open source ideology (and of course it supports open source formats like FLAC and OGG as well). -- Join the DSLR Kiva team! | |
