I agree that the SD picture quality problem is only evident on HD TVs, and only if you are using the FIOS DVR. I have a non DVR box in my bedroom with an old SD TV, and the picture quality there is great. I have also had the service for less than 3 months, so heres to hoping the 1.62 build fixes things!
