2 edits | IF that is the proper breakdown of the sample, the stats generated are pretty poor. You would need to poll the exact same number of customers, from each of the carriers, to get a better set of stats. Another useless set of information released that Verizon PR will spin to their advantage.
Kind of like the stat Glenn Beck threw out the other day about UAW workers making $164/hr when you include their benefits--he forgot to mention that some CEOs like Ivan Seidenberg make $9,000+/hr on Salary and bonuses without benefits[based upon an 8hr workday--his salary and bonuses come out to approx $75,000.00 per day]. Which hourly rate is more obscene in your opinion? |

1 edit | It's not the breakdown of the polls... It is a potentially weighted breakdown. Without the $2000 report it is hard to vet the data.
Even with equal polling, I think the sample set is pretty small. |

I agree.. the sample is too small to be of any significance - esp on the AT&T / VZ customer polling.
I'd recommend somewhere in the area of 10,000-25,000 to at least make a sampling. Having 7 or 11 people as a valid number for AT&T or VZ is not enough for any meaningful statistics. 1/10 our of 10,000 samples means something. 1/10 out of 10 samples is too small of a sample base.

I have never seen Glenn Beck say that making more money was a bad thing. Conservatives and Libertarians (such as myself and Glenn Beck) want everyone to make more money... But don't say you're not making a KILLING when you CLEARLY are.... Especially if it means that your company is going under if you don't make concessions!
