I selected "Program Not Listed" because I use Ashampoo Burning Studio 7. Cost when I purchased it was something like $4.99, and it has performed very well for me. |

KanebrakeHendricks MotorsportsPremium join:2002-03-12 | reply to jazzman916 Great Poll ...I also use My Movies for Window Home Server. Just stick the dvd in and 20 to 30 min later it pops out and the movies is listed on your server ready to play. -- You can tell how big a person is by what it takes to discourage him. |

BabarPremium join:2001-05-09 Washington | reply to jazzman916 Great poll, jazzman916!
I'm happy with the following routine:
Rip full movie (as DVD-9) to HDD with AnyDVD and CloneDVD2, removing adverts, trailers, extras, and unwanted audio/subtitle tracks. Then re-encode (3-pass CCE mode with bitrate redistribution) with DVD Rebuilder Pro to DVD-5 and burn to S/L disk with ImgBurn. Fantastic, and inexpensive backups!
I do full dual-layer DVD-9 copies on the "Lord of The Rings" types movies after stripping out the FBI warnings, etc. -- "Geez, I'm goin' crazy out there at the lake." |
