It can sometimes take up to 45 seconds to get verification of my password. I am using AOL 9.5 with Windows XP. For about 6 weeks, password verification has slowed down considerably. I switched from AOL 9.0 Optimized to AOL 9.5. It did not help. With AOL technicians help (ticket #15148516), I Deleted all connection locations and redetect. It did not help.
I've noticed this more in the past year or so then in the far past.
It used to log in (on broadband) instantly...now there is a long pause (not as long as 45 seconds though but still an annoying pause). I'm using 9.1 (I don't even think 9.5 is worth the download).
