It used to log in (on broadband) instantly...now there is a long pause (not as long as 45 seconds though but still an annoying pause). I'm using 9.1 (I don't even think 9.5 is worth the download).

I understand what you mean but it's on AOL's end. They probably changed something and for the worse.

I am using AOL 9.5 with Windows XP. For about 6 weeks, password verification has slowed down considerably. I switched from AOL 9.0 Optimized to AOL 9.5. It did not help.
