The only one to stand up to Bushies spying?

Wasn't Qwest the only major Telco that said no to the DoD and Homeland Security about wiretapping? Wasn't AT&T. Sprint, PacBell, Verizon all doing it and getting away with it? Didn't all those "Spying on Americans" Telco's receive Direct-awarded government contracts and Qwest received nothing for their patronage? Now, they have a chance at funds and the same American people they stood up for are telling them to "F-off!"?!
I for one am a Qwest DSL user and am happy with the service and very proud to be a patron of their service. They stood up for this American when all the other cowards didn't. So, I hope Qwest gets everything they want. The other Traitors can "f-off" as far as I'm concerned.

·WOW Internet and..

+2 and i don't even use Qwest.

People change their mind on a dime. They want high speed but they don't want to pay for it. They want this but don't wanna do that. But they want their rights protected as well. Qwest protected their rights and now those same people who wanted rights also want HSI but no $$$ since Qwest didnt get the $$$ the others got for their illegal taps. WHICH ARE STLL GOING ON!

That's true.

Qwest told the NSA to jam it sideways.

Thumbs up for that.

Right they didnt play ball with the NSA but wasnt that the same time when they where lying about true stock values and getting ready to clean up and leave town? Maybe they didnt want the fox in the hen house for a reason.

So he was against spying but not ripping off the company for 100s of millions. Way to take the higher ground.
