I finally built the PC I wanted and wanted to share with you. Prices are approximate. I mounted the motherboard inside a case for Direct-TV receiver box that I found thrown out.
The fan that came with the motherboard was annoyingly loud (small fans = much noise) so I took it off after the photo and put in a large low-speed (thus low noise) fan. Once you close the desk you don't hear a thing
