| 1.6.2 Upgrade Thread
Tomorrow, February 26, Buffalo NY & Harrisburg PA are scheduled to get the new 1.6.2 IMG fix (hopefully). Can anyone in those areas post here and let us know if you received it and what differences you notice? Is the SD picture quality better on the 6xxx boxes? Has all the audio issues been resolved on the 7xxx boxes? Are the Hub errors gone when streaming HD from the multiroom DVR? We anxiously await your feedback! |

At any rate, as I reported previously, SD PQ improved with the 1.6.1 release... |

For me, I am really interested in how this effects the 7XXX series boxes. Some one I work with has one for his MR-DVR and says how much faster and more responsive it is.
Or if this fixes the responsivness on the 62xx box that is fine too.

| Well, since Mat is *certain* that the audio issues, including the "2 burp" one are fixed on the 7XXX boxes, I won't have anything else to complain about.
Of course, I am realistically assuming that 1.6.2 will break something else. It's been pretty quiet around here lately. |

The sound would skip a sec or two. One about 1 to 15 seconds after the first when ever a DVR function was used, ie. Pause, Play, FF. RW, skip or replay and also when using the guide to change channels. I found it most annoying when i had that box. |

Any indication if this update will fix the stuttering of buffered video and DVR recordings? That and "CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE" are the big ones, at least for me. |
