| What went wrong at Charter? Looks like the bailout includes another 7 billion for broadband to be installed in Green Acres AKA (BFE). If the goverment is smart they'll hand that money over to companies in rural areas to connect the folks in the sticks. Otherwise it will get dumped on the little guys and time and time again those little guys go belly up too. Charter serves mostly rural areas and would love to be able to build out to areas they already serve, but want to add wideband and telephone there also. |
