Pookie, I'm just making fun of it. I have never understood what is wrong with people here...it isn't like most of them didn't grow up with snow! If I could resist becoming wimpified the 18 years I've been here now, these folks have no excuse.
It wasn't an hour after the "significant snowfall" forecast was issued yesterday that I started getting "In case I can't make in to work on Monday" emails from clients. The first was a woman who lives a block from the subway on one of the major streets in town, and their office is a block from the same subway line (two stops from hers), along another of the key streets. Oh, and she's from Rochester.

Nice 'puss. Saw something on TV the other night about one of the major aquariums that had put a giant octopus in their largest tank and then sharks started disappearing. They had been concerned that the sharks would attack the octopus but, instead, the octopus was catching and eating 3-4 foot long sharks. Sorry, I don't have a link to the video that shows this. |
