 | I love sprint My EV-DO revA merlin card can get up to 1.7 mbps in the metro detroit area where I live! Down in Indiana where I work i can get about 500k in very very rural areas, and 1300k in the more urban areas.
I have 99 dollar simply everything plan on my sanyo pro 700 bullet proof phone and it works great. I love the navigation system as i can quickly look up anything and call it without directory assistance. I use my tomtom in my car as its screen is large, but i often use the sprint phone to look up addresses as my tomtom doesn't have that many points of interest.
I wish sprint could carry the iPhone, as it is the only phone i can say is good. There are cell phones, and then there is the iPhone, in my opinion nothing else compares. I think the main weakness sprint has is its phones as oppose to its network. Its network is top notch 3G, and they are the first to deploy 4G. I use my mobile broadband card in my car with a cradle-point router (router that works with air cards), then I use my iPod touch to connect to it with wifi. I can get my 1.3-1.7 mbps in the detroit area, while my friends 3G iphone gets only 300-500k. I can use pandora radio in my car with my ipod touch and the sprint internet works great with it. |
