| NO Just got back from a trip where the hotel had free, "crippled" wifi (or faster if you wanted to pay $10/day). Since I'm cheap, I used the free product, advertised as 256k down/128k up.
faster than dialup, but frustrating as hell just for web surfing. web pages these days are so graphic intensive, surfing at dialup speeds would be like surfing in slow motion - you wait, then wait some more, twiddle your thumbs, wait some more, then your page loads.
I doubt I could take much of this before I just gave up. |
