Haha, go BACKWARDS in technology, Pfftt.. Umm yeah $7.95 for painfully slow-I-would-never-go-online-dialup or if you really want to cut costs simply get 'naked' att dsl for a whole $14.95 for 512k/128k, or $24.95 for 768k/256k I believe (correct if wrong). It would actually be somewhat more enjoyable to watch pages load before your eyes and not ever at all on dialup.
I personally would just keep internet even if it were $40-60/mo. The net is way too important these days for many things other than entertainment.
On another note, simply not going out to eat at that very fancy restaurant that would normally cost you $40-$60 that ONE day in the week with your significant other would cover your cost of internet. See it ain't so bad... Most people don't seem to realize simple cost cutting.
