With T-Mobile's 2.5G network, it'll take you a whole month just to get to 5GB.

Unless you get their oddball 1700Mhz 3G service that no datacard supports.

The term "Unlimited Data" should not be allowed under any circumstances.. unless of course, its UNLIMITED. I dont understand how this continues.

Agreed, and if they are truly marketing this as unlimited, they are going to have some issues on their hands.

2.5G, that was so 3 years ago for other carriers. I do not want to remember those times

If only the TMOB customers knew what they were missing

Much better than 5.

And they should at least call it "Virtually Unlimited" or something similar. Saying simply unlimited should be fraud. Period.

T-Mobile compatible 3g data cards exist. I owned one. Option gt 307. Got on average 1100/350 kbps. T-Mobile just doesn't sell it. Stelera wireless in Oklahoma sells them unlocked. Last i checked, the 3g data card from them cost about $200.00

Look at the linked picture! It's blatantly advertised as unlimited! :s

I think at&t and Verizon customers would cream their pants for a 10 GB cap.

T-Mo's "unlimited data" IS unlimited. The 10GB cab is a bandwidth speed cap. If/when you hit 10GB, they (threaten to) throttle your throughput to 50kbps- they don't shut you off or charge you extra.

The amount of data is unlimited- the SPEED of the data isn't!

This is similar to what the satellite internet providers like DirectWay used to do, to "punish" those that used more data than the typical customer, without breaking their promise to offer "unlimited" service.
