I think many people are forgetting that HBO, Showtime, Starz, CineMax, Encore, etc.... are premium channels at $12 a set or something like that.

It's easy to shout that you have 100 HD channels if getting 50 of them is going to cost you $50 a month extra.

The U300 package comes with Showtime, The Movie Channel, and Starz as well as others for $20 more per month than U200. Not a bad deal.

At least they're actually normal HD channels, DirecTV's count usually includes 30 PPVHD channels!

This is comcast in my area. You get more for your money if you do have HBO or MAX with Uverse. With Comcast, you get 1 HD HBO. What if they're not showing pr0n on this HBOHD, you're out of luck.

I'm in Canyon Country like you ( Valencia, CC, Newhall are all really Santa Clarita, CA). I have the U400 package, and I still would have to pay more for a few HD channels ( Smithsonian HD, UHD, and something else... ) It's a lot of junk and a LOT of money to pay and we're still missing a few must have channels... It's much better than what I have in my D.C. condo with Comcast, though...
