Re: when will they drop the caps? except in DOCSIS 3 case its not faster = more, its more channels = more... the cap claim was because they said the channel was congested... now you have at least 2 channels for downstream (and possibly up to 8 depending on chipsets, etc) so the DOCSIS 3 != higher caps kinda goes out the window because we ARE allowing more bandwidth for usage |

Also, the speeds tiers are ridiculous. D3 can do 160 (4 Channel) or 320 (8 Channel) yet they are not even offering speeds like Cablevision's (Optonline) BOOST DOCSIS2 30Mbs (really 38Mbs uncapped) let alone what D3 can actually deliver. |
