I'm in Mendocino County (North Bay Network. former Adelphia market), and we just got a letter this month saying we are going to be bumped up from Performance Plus to Blast as of our April billing statement, though they will raise our price 2 bucks a month (grrrr). As I understood it, getting Blast does not mean DOCSIS 3.0 is being rolled out, or did I misunderstand? Does that mean we are getting DOCSIS 3.0 up here too? |

Edit-We're on the Comcast North Bay Network, so maybe sooner than later? |

D2 can do the 10mbps upload on that extreme tier. -- When I gez aju zavateh na nalechoo more new yonooz tonigh molinigh - Ken Lee |

 | You don't have to change your plan with Comcast to get 12 Mbps download speed and 2 Mbps upload speeds at no additional charge, and your current modem should support those speeds, all you have to do is reset your modem (once DOCSIS 3.0 launches) which should be coming soon to the rest of the east bay. You only have to upgrade your modem if you plan on getting the new 50 Mbps tier.

I think Hayward is with Fremont, Newark, Oakland, and SF: getting it sometime "later in 2009." |
