They told me explicitly that I could not do this; we'll find out when it arrives.
I found out when I signed up on the rebate card's website to check the balance there is an option to transfer it to a bank account on the page. Unforunately, I had already used it once, and you must do a transfer for the full funds, you can't do the transfer once you've made any purchases with it.
