 Webspace not working properly

I went to my webspace today and noticed that my website doesn't load up but instead I get a listing of all the files and folders. I also noticed some folders in the root directory aren't showing up from that listing. I then started up my FTP client to see if everything is there and all seems fine, including the missing folders. Anyone else use the webspace and notice anything strange?

Yeah it's something on my account I think. At first I noticed the index.htm wasn't working. So I changed everyting to index.html. That fixed the listing problem as in my first post and the page loaded up normal. Anyways I tried to delete all my files and folder and upload everything again but for some reason one folder doesn't want to get deleted and this is the folder the is giving me a server error message.

As you can see from the images I have a folder called shower. For some reason it gives me an error when I try to load it. This folder does have an index.html and other folders in it. It doesn't even show up in my root directory which is strange.

I sent mountain a quick e-mail describing the problem. Hopefully someone gets a chance to read it and fix it.

MikeG, can you upload a larger file of about 7-10MB? Something that will not exceed the account limit but come close. The reason I'm asking is they fixed the problem I had at first but now I can't even upload one image of 1MB in size. Before I had a personal site of about 7MB and it all worked great. Now I get an error message in my FTP client that my account disk space quota has been exceeded with only one file. I think the most it will accept is about 250KB. Very odd.

I've been with the techs on the phone everyday this week but as soon as they fix one problem, another arises.

Interesting..I can't upload a file bigger than about 1.5mb without it restarting the transfer. Seems like they're limiting the amount of time to upload a file or something..

I'm going to give them a call on Monday again. They must of changed something recently that broke the webspace accounts. I never had any issues like this before.

Was just about to call them but decided to give this another shot and upload some test files. Guess what? Everything seems to work again. I honestly was beginning to think is was something on my end. I'm glad Mountain didn't ignore me with this issue. Thumbs up!

How about you Mike?

Still limited to uploading about 1.5-1.8mb files..however it isnt a big issue for me as I don't really use the webspace that much anymore.
