As working for a CLEC right now dealing with FairPoint...well its Horrible...all of their Databases are screwed up when you try to look something up in one town it is saying the rate center is located in another town.. None of the orders are getting processed in a timely fashion. I'M now a total advocate for VoIP...Long Live FairPoint (sarcasm)

Tell me about it. I also do contract work for a CLEC in this state. I basically have done 0 installs since middle of January. A few have started to trickle in, in the last week. Sucks too, because the CLEC can't tell whether the circuit really was provisioned on the due date. They don't have access to a FP database. They go by FP's word whether the circuit is provisioned or not. Half of the time it isn't.

I just recently had a few DSL lines provisioned recently not too far from you (next county over) and they committed at the Due Date (Mar 02 for one Mar 05 for the other) and they're actually active.
I will admit I was a skeptic but they're actually active too. My crew went and did inside wiring from the NID today and tested.
I still have disdain for Fairpoint for a ton of reasons, but at least they apparently haven't screwed me this month yet.
