[POLL] Uninstallers - 2009 Member Choice

According to Wikipedia, "An uninstaller or deinstaller is a computer program which is designed to remove all or parts of a specific other program or application. It is the opposite of an installer. Some software vendors ship an uninstaller with their applications. A third-party uninstaller is a program which uninstalls programs from vendors different from the uninstaller vendor. Such uninstallers often aim to support uninstallation of a number of programs."

The following are the 2009 nominees for top uninstaller programs. Please vote for your top pick(s). If you vote for "Other", please specify in a post within this topic what you use and any links to that program.

This is a whole area where I'm not real clear on things.
Know that some programs only trigger the "Windows Add/Remove" using a GUI to make it easier for the user, or they find and trigger the programs own uninstaller.

Have read claims by some programs that they also use a separate algorithm(??) to find more things for a more thorough cleaning, but that is as far as I understand it.

The only way I'm sure to get everything is to use a program that actually monitors the install and records everything that happens during it.

There is one other program that I use which a case can be made for
Sandboxie »www.sandboxie.com/
I install a program using a sandbox, and if I want to get rid of it, all I have to do is delete the sandbox... so It isn't an uninstaller because the program was never really installed, but on the other hand I could "install", use and test the program and have the ability to totally get it off my system, so a quasi-uninstaller

I use Ccleaner. I like the registry clean up it performs afterward.

...lil reminder here how these Software polls work - vote and state what you use - or don't vote & don't post.

»Software Forum Member Choice »[POLL] Posting & Voting Guidelines

If you have questions, keep them out of the poll, and start a topic in the forum. These threads are for voting what you do use, so that folks take that data & compile our FAQ's from them.

Excellent poll.

I selected Other:

Windows Installer CleanUp »support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Came across this stand-alone program several months ago.
Should not be used by anyone running Office 2007 as explained in the Microsoft details.

Windows Add/Remove (if program doesn't have supplied uninstaller)

Your Uninstaller (for hard to remove programs)
